Cold drawn aluminum tubes are produced by melting aluminum ingots, extruding or casting them into rough tubes through a die, and then cold drawing them at room temperature to produce seamless aluminum tubes. Cold drawing can significantly improve the dimensional accuracy and concentricity of the tubes, improve surface quality and increase hardness. Cold drawn aluminum tubes are used in thin-walled, close-tolerance and high-precision matching machinery/cylinders/sleeves/precision structural parts.

Cold drawn aluminum tubes are widely used in industries that require high dimensional precision, smooth surfaces, and superior mechanical strength. They are commonly applied in pneumatic and hydraulic systems, where tight tolerances and durability are essential for efficient fluid movement. In the automotive and aerospace sectors, these tubes are used for lightweight structural components, fuel lines, and heat exchangers. They are also popular in precision machinery, instrument housings, and sports equipment, where consistent wall thickness and accuracy are critical. Additionally, cold drawn aluminum tubes serve in marine, electrical, and architectural applications due to their excellent corrosion resistance and aesthetic surface finish.

Cold drawn aluminum tubes are known for their high dimensional accuracy, tight tolerances, and excellent surface finish achieved through the cold drawing process. This manufacturing method enhances the tubes’ mechanical strength, hardness, and uniform wall thickness, making them suitable for precision applications. They also offer superior concentricity and smooth internal and external surfaces, which improve fluid flow and component fit. The tubes exhibit lightweight properties, good corrosion resistance, and excellent machinability, especially in alloys like 6061, 6063, and 6082. In addition, cold drawn aluminum tubes are available in various tempers (O, T4, T5, T6, T832) and can be finished with anodizing, polishing, or hard coating to meet specific functional and aesthetic requirements.
