6013 Aluminum Sheet is a high-performance 6000 series alloy (Si–Mg–Cu–Mn) offering an excellent balance of high strength, superior corrosion resistance, and good formability. It is heat-treatable and available in T4 (solution-treated and naturally aged) and T6 (solution-treated and artificially aged to achieve maximum strength) tempers, making it ideal for demanding structural applications. The alloy exhibits typical tensile strength up to 410 MPa and yield strength around 350 MPa in T6 temper, with elongation values suitable for moderate forming operations.
Commonly available in thicknesses from 0.8 mm to 12.7 mm, widths of 610 mm to 1220 mm, and lengths up to 3660 mm, 6013 sheets can also be supplied in custom sizes. Standard surface finishes include mill finish, with optional anodized or painted coatings to enhance corrosion resistance and appearance.
6013 Aluminum Sheet complies with international standards such as AMS 4347 (T4), AMS 4216 (T6), and ASTM B209, ensuring quality and reliability. Its combination of high strength, excellent machinability, and corrosion resistance makes it ideal for aerospace structural components, automotive body panels, hydraulic parts, and other high-load applications.
As a versatile alloy with both strength and corrosion performance, 6013 Aluminum Sheet provides a cost-effective, durable solution for lightweight structural requirements.
