6101 aluminum plate is a heat-treatable aluminum-silicon-magnesium alloy. It is highly valued for its excellent electrical conductivity, strong mechanical properties, and superior corrosion resistance. These qualities make it an ideal choice for the electrical and power transmission industry.
With an electrical conductivity of approximately 55–58% IACS and a relatively low cost, 6101 aluminum has increasingly replaced copper in many applications. It offers an economical alternative to traditional metals without compromising performance.
