5754 aluminum belongs to the 5000 series Al-Mg alloy. Its main alloying element is magnesium, with a typical Mg content of about 2.6%–3.6%, along with small amounts of chromium and manganese. This balanced composition gives the alloy stable performance in harsh environments.
5754 aluminum is a non-heat-treatable alloy. Its strength is mainly improved through cold working rather than heat treatment. As a result, the mechanical properties of 5754 aluminum and the temper influence sheet properties, offering flexibility for different shaping and structural purposes.
In practical use, 5754 aluminum sheets provide a strong combination of good strength, excellent seawater corrosion resistance, and reliable machinability. These properties make the material well suited for marine structures, transportation components, and load-bearing applications where durability and corrosion resistance are critical.
As a professional 5754 aluminum supplier, zggmetal offers AW 5754 aluminum sheets in common tempers such as H22 and H111. Multiple specifications are available to meet different project needs. In addition, zggmetal supports value-added services, including laser cutting and surface treatment, helping customers streamline processing and improve overall efficiency.
