Industrial aluminum foil is a thin aluminum strip or coil used for industrial purposes. It ranges from ultra-thin packaging foil (a few microns) to thicker structural/functional aluminum alloy foils. It can be manufactured using a variety of aluminum alloys and hardness conditions to meet requirements for thermal conductivity, flexibility, corrosion resistance, and mechanical strength. It is used in radiator/air conditioner fins, current collectors for electronics/batteries, pharmaceutical/food packaging, thermal insulation/insulation, and composite lamination.

Lightweight and high strength-to-weight ratio – Despite its thinness, it offers sufficient mechanical strength for industrial forming and handling.
Excellent thermal conductivity – Ideal for heat exchangers, air conditioning fins, and thermal management applications.
Corrosion resistance – Aluminum naturally forms a protective oxide layer, making it suitable for long-term use in humid or chemically challenging environments.
Flexible and formable – Available in various tempers (O, H14, H18, H22, H24), allowing deep drawing, lamination, or bending without cracking.
Wide range of thicknesses – From ultra-thin 6 µm foils for electronics or packaging to 250 µm for structural or thermal applications.
Variety of surface finishes – Mill finish, bright, matte, or coated surfaces for specific functional or aesthetic requirements.
Conformance to standards – Typically meets ASTM B479, EN, or equivalent, ensuring consistent quality, thickness tolerance, and surface cleanliness.
Versatile alloy options – Alloys like 1050, 1060, 1100, 3003, 8011, 8079 allow optimization for conductivity, strength, or corrosion resistance depending on the application.
In summary, industrial aluminum foil combines lightweight, flexibility, thermal efficiency, corrosion resistance, and precise tolerances, making it highly adaptable for packaging, electronics, thermal management, and structural uses.
