7075 aluminum tube is a high-strength, cold-forged alloy widely used in aerospace and aviation applications. It offers superior strength compared to mild steel, with good machinability, moderate corrosion resistance, and excellent anodizing response. The fine grain structure enhances deep-hole drilling, thread rolling, and wear resistance, making it ideal for precision high-performance components.
7075 aluminum tube is a cold-worked, high-strength forged alloy that significantly outperforms mild steel in strength. Recognized as one of the strongest commercial-grade aluminum alloys, 7075 offers excellent mechanical properties, good anodizing response, and moderate corrosion resistance. Its fine-grain structure enhances deep drilling performance, increases tool wear resistance, and improves thread rolling consistency.
With a yield strength close to its tensile strength, 7075 has a high yield ratio and exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. However, due to its relatively lower plasticity and thermal strength, it is best suited for load-bearing structural components used at room temperature or below 120°C.
