3105 aluminum sheet is a structurally stable aluminum alloy sheet, available in various thicknesses, and custom sizes are supported. Send an inquiry to get discounted pricing.
3105 aluminum alloy is a durable aluminum–manganese alloy sheet known for its high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and outstanding formability. By adding small amounts of manganese and magnesium, the alloy gains improved protection against corrosion, allowing it to perform reliably in harsh environments and chemically aggressive conditions.
This alloy cannot be strengthened through heat treatment. Instead, its mechanical strength is increased by cold working, which makes it suitable for applications that require higher load-bearing capacity. Compared with 1100 and 3003 aluminum alloys, 3105 alloy offers greater strength, helping it resist deformation, bending, and structural fatigue.
Thanks to its balanced performance and wide processing flexibility, 3105 aluminum is a highly versatile material and a popular choice across many industrial and manufacturing applications.
Excellent Corrosion Resistance
The alloy withstands harsh environments and chemical exposure, maintaining long-term durability.
Maintains Structural Stability
Even under stress or in challenging conditions, 3105 aluminum retains its shape and strength.
Superior Formability
Its high aluminum content (around 98%) makes it easy to shape, bend, and process for various sheet metal applications.
Good Weldability
Compatible with multiple welding methods, allowing flexible fabrication options.
Moderate Strength
In the H14 temper, 3105 aluminum provides higher mechanical performance than 1100 and 3003 alloys while remaining below the strength levels of 5000 or 6000 series alloys.
Lightweight with Exceptional Conductivity
Pure aluminum alloy is not only lightweight but also offers excellent thermal and electrical conductivity. At room temperature, it outperforms many other metals in conducting electricity and heat, making it ideal for applications where efficient energy transfer and weight reduction are important.
This combination of corrosion resistance, workability, and reliable strength makes 3105 aluminum a versatile choice for roofing, siding, and general sheet metal applications.
