3003 aluminum coil is a rust-resistant aluminum alloy containing manganese (Mn), with a manganese content of approximately 1.0% to 1.5%. This alloy offers superior corrosion resistance compared to 1000 series pure aluminum. It exhibits excellent plasticity, weldability, and corrosion resistance, and its strength is approximately 10% higher than 1100 aluminum. While it cannot be strengthened through heat treatment, its strength can be increased through cold working. It is commonly used in applications requiring excellent corrosion resistance and moderate strength, such as roofing panels, exterior wall panels, storage tanks, and chemical equipment.
