2024 T351 aluminum plate is a high-strength alloy produced through precise processing and heat-treatment steps. In the T351 temper, the material is solution-treated, stretched to relieve internal stress, and then naturally aged. Although 2024 alloy delivers excellent strength, its corrosion resistance is weaker than some other aluminum series. When welding, it is recommended to take additional protective measures to avoid cracks during welding.
