1100 aluminum sheet is a commercially pure aluminum alloy with a minimum aluminum content of 99%. It is known for its excellent formability, high corrosion resistance, and good electrical conductivity. Due to its softness and ductility, it is easy to shape through processes like deep drawing, spinning, and stamping. It cannot be heat-treated for strength; instead, its mechanical properties are enhanced through cold working.

1050 aluminum plates are widely used in applications that require excellent formability, high corrosion resistance, and good electrical and thermal conductivity. Because 1050 is a commercially pure aluminum alloy (with aluminum content around 99.5%), it shares many characteristics with 1100 aluminum.
Electrical components: Due to high electrical conductivity, 1050 plates are ideal for electrical busbars, conductors, and other electrical equipment.
Chemical and food processing: Its excellent corrosion resistance makes it suitable for chemical containers, tanks, and food processing machinery.
Architectural applications: Used in decorative panels, roofing, siding, and other building components where corrosion resistance and appearance are important.
Packaging materials: Commonly used in packaging materials such as aluminum foil and trays.
Heat exchangers and radiators: Good thermal conductivity makes it suitable for heat transfer equipment.
Deep drawing and forming: Soft temper allows complex shaping in manufacturing of cookware, appliances, and other formed parts.
Reflective surfaces: Its bright surface finish is useful for lighting reflectors and decorative applications.
