1050 aluminum coil is a wrought, commercially pure aluminum product containing at least 99.5% aluminum.
It belongs to the 1000 series alloys, known for excellent corrosion resistance, high electrical and thermal conductivity, and outstanding formability, but with relatively low mechanical strength.It cannot be strengthened by heat treatment—only by cold working—and is available in tempers such as O, H12, H14, H16, H18, H22, H24, etc.
Typical thickness ranges from about 0.10 mm to 8 mm, with widths up to about 2650 mm.Surface finishes include mill finish, polished, brushed, embossed, anodized, or coated (e.g., PVDF, polyester), and it is produced according to standards like ASTM B209, EN 573, EN 485, JIS H4000, and GB/T 3880.
